With proposed decrease in the estate tax exemption, we will be seeing more and more taxable estates. This presentation is designed as a refresher for attorneys and fiduciaries on taxable estates and how to administer them. Participants will learn what to look for in trust documents to see if a trust split is required and how to identify asset values, how to manage a split trust and the different responsibilities to various beneficiaries and how to administer a taxable estate.
