Ever wonder what the criteria for income and assets are when applying for the Section 8 housing program? How will they treat your client's trust? What kind of income is counted, and which income is excluded? How is the final rent amount determined? What if you reinterested in utilizing real property to rent in this program? Because this is a Federal program, rules are the same statewide. The program allows those with lower income to rent or purchase safe, decent, and affordable housing. There is also special funding for emergencies, veterans, and family unification. Join us to shed light on a program we sometimes interact with but know little about.
