The Sonoma County Clerk-Recorder-Assessor’s office preserves records and vital documents, but what else do you know about them? Join us January 4, 2019 for an introduction to this important government service you will surely interact with. We will learn about what documents are filed with the agency, as well as how to accomplish this smoothly.

From vital statistic records, marriage licenses, deeds, mining claims, liens, trust deeds to fictitious business name statements, this office covers a lot of territory! Did you know they offer a comprehensive index of all the documents they record? Find out what other tidbits might help you in your fiduciary duties.

There will be a Mentor Meeting afterwards. This meeting is open to all those licensed, those in the process of getting their license, and those who are considering becoming a Fiduciary. We have at least one Professional Fiduciary who shares their experience and insights on topics such as business administration, trust, conservatorship, and probate procedure. They also share their personal experience on how to work with clients, peers, and other professionals. It's a great opportunity to ask questions, and meet others working within our industry.

Please join us at the Council on Aging in Santa Rosa, and don't forget to park in the Trader Joe's parking lot across the street. The Council on Aging is a scent-free building. We look forward to seeing you!
