Description of the meeting:
This presentation will serve to build your knowledge of the transfer of real property in special proceedings. Attorney Alexandria Goff will provide a review of the probate process including: Information about the Independent Administration of Estates Act; details regarding formal probate and the terms of a probate sale; a review of trust administration basics and the processes involving real property; and special requirements when a conservator is appointed.

Attorney Alexandria Goff is the founder and owner of the Law Office of Alexandria Goff, PC. The focus of her growing practice is estate planning, probate, trust administration, and equine law. She grew up in Placer County, graduated from Sacramento State with a bachelor’s degree and from the University of California, Davis with a Juris Doctorate. Ali used to ride horses competitively in 3-day eventing. Truman (her horse) and Ali have since retired from riding, but they take the occasional trail ride. Ali’s vision is to lead the legal community through education, inspiration, and innovation. She was drawn to estate planning to help people avoid complicated messes and protect the family members that are left behind. She loves educating others and is a frequent presenter for the Professional Fiduciary Association of California, the Probate Section of the Placer County Bar, and the National Business Institute. Ali lives in Loomis with her husband, young child (Henri) and their two cats.
